Star Students Visit Publishers With MP

Three CBA students were guests of Corby MP Louise Bagshawe on a recent trip to London.

As a reward for their achievements the students were invited by Ms Bagshawe, who is also an author, to visit Headline Publishing.
Students were met by the Headline team and were talked through the process of getting a book from an idea in someone's head to the finished article on a shelf.

Emily Carroll, Megan Hogg and Harrison Tomkins chatted with the editor and Ms Bagshawe talked to the students about the pitfalls and rewards of being a writer.

The students were taken for lunch by Ms Bagshawe (picture here during a recent visit to CBA) where they discussed local issues.

Assistant Librarian Bernie Smith said: "Louise Bagshawe was a great host and we really appreciated her taking the time to meet with us."
