Put On Your Boogie Shoes

Two more discos for years 7 and 8 have been organised by the Prom Committee.

After November's disco for Year 7 raised £200, committee members decided to hold the successful event again.

Year 8's disco will take place on March 31st while Year 7's is on April 4th.

Both will be held in the main theatre from 4pm to 5.30pm and will include an Easter egg hunt and a tuck shop.

Year 11 students Fraser Gillan and Michael Foley (pictured) have been busy organising the events and tickets, which are £2, will be on sale from Student Reception later this month.

Fraser said: "If the last disco is anything to go by, these ones will be successful. It should be really good fun."

So far, they have already raised around £1,000 for the Year 11 prom, helping to bring down the cost of the tickets for the rest of their year group.

The prom is being held at the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby on June 30th, with a Hollywood theme.
