Academy Appoints New Head Boy and Head Girl

After an in-depth application process, a grilling from the Academy Senate and an interview with the Principal himself, CBA is delighted to be able to introduce its new Head boy and Head girl, Jordon Joseph and Jacqueline Tsiga.

The pair have taken to their new roles with gusto and are looking forward to playing an active role within CBA life.

Jacqueline said: "The role is important to me and I will always do my best for the students in the school for I am their voice and will be acting on their behalf.

"I am committed to being a good leader but also at the same time I am a friend; everyone can relate to. I want to take an active role with helping the students at Corby Business Academy, to push them to do better and reach their goals.

"I have proposed that we increase citizenship activities such as inter-form mock trial competitions.

This will help the students work together positively and improve interaction between different groups of people."

Jordon said: "What a privilege and honour it is to be the very first Head Boy of Corby Business Academy.

"I will strive to make every student want to achieve their best potential, and offer guidance.

"Within the first month I feel like I have made great strives as I have already opened the first ever cricket club of which I am Head Coach.

"It was a real accomplishment to have been chosen to represent the school and the students."
