A Red Hot Day Out

Out and about in the community this term we visited Corby Fire Station as part of Citizenship lessons learning about the Emergency Services and how they help the local community.

The class listened to a talk about the role of the Fire Service and fire safety in the home before trying on their uniforms, enjoying a ride in the fire engine and trying their hand at being a fire fighter alongside some of White Watch.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit especially the hands on experiences of the practical side of the job.
