Jordan leads Remembrance Day parade
Year 11 student and Army Cadet Jordan England marched at the front of a Remembrance Day parade in Corby.
Jordan, who is a Corporal in the Alexandra (Corby) Detachment of the Army Cadets, led the parade as it marched from Crucible Road to the Old Village church and the cenotaph on Sunday, November 11.
Jordan spent the run-up to Remembrance Day getting involved with the local Poppy Appeal and sold poppies at the poppy shop in Corby town centre. Local Army Cadets raised just under £2,000 in five days.
Jordan said: “I was right at the front of the parade marching with the Royal British Legion banner. I was with two others. The one on the right is the one whose footstep the others follow so the others had to follow me.”
