Students are being invited to enter a creative writing competition by writing their own 500-word story.

The competition is being run in school by PCSO Alex Franklin to tie in with the County Schools Challenge, which is running in schools throughout Northamptonshire and is this year based around the case of Sophie Lancaster, who died after being attacked because of her gothic clothing and appearance.

The challenge to CBA students is to write a story from the point of view of the victim, the perpetrator or the parents of the victim in a crime of the student’s choice.

The students' stories will be put together in a book and the overall winner will be chosen by a published author.

Finished stories must be submitted by the end of March to be entered into the competition.
