In July, the History department was honoured to gain the Historical Association Quality Mark Gold Award. The assessor, Dr. Lomas, a principal education inspector, chair of the British Association for Local History, Honorary Secretary of the Historical Association and member of the secondary committee was thoroughly impressed with our curriculum, leadership, teaching and learning, achievement, and enrichment. He recommended that Corby Business Academy be designated an exemplar history department.
