Re: Transport home from Corby Business Academy

I am writing to you with reference to the rescheduling of bus routes 234 and 240 which your son/daughter  travels on.  The Local Education Authority has scheduled theses buses to carry out a double run.  The first route takes students home, terminating in the Exeter area, with the bus then returning to the Academy to transport the students to Oakley Vale.

As a result of this double run, your son/daughter will be scheduled to leave CBA at 4.05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, which is twenty minutes later than during the last academic year.  Students are welcome to wait in the building until the bus arrives at the Academy and should arrive home by 4.30pm at the latest.  Please note that as the Academy day is shorter on a Wednesday, the bus will leave CBA at 3.15pm and 3.30pm.  The second bus run should return students home by 4.00pm.

Should you wish to discuss this arrangement then please contact the Local Authority, who are responsible for providing transport for the Academy students.
