Dear Year 11 & 13 Students and Parents or Carers,
You may well be aware that today Gavin Williamson, the Education Secretary, confirmed in the House of Commons that GCSE, AS and A-level examinations will not go ahead this year. He said he wished “to use a form of teacher assessment grades, with training and support provided to ensure these are awarded fairly and consistently across the country”.
Congratulations to our Sixth Former Josh Haigh who has been accepted onto the prestigious Master Cadet course which is run by the Army Cadet Force.
Free meals are automatically available to all Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) children under the Universal Infant School Meals Scheme. You can apply for free school meals for older children in full-time education up to the age of 18 if you are in receipt of certain benefits.
Congratulations to one of our students, Cadet Sergeant Josh Haigh, who is one of just 12 CCF cadets nationally to be considered for the award of Master Cadet.
