We would like to take this opportunity to invite families of our students to our Winter Showcase at Corby Business Academy – an evening of music and awards.
Our music department are set to release their new album named ‘Helter Skelter’. The CD is a follow up to ‘Music Means Business’, which the Academy produced in 2014.
International businessman and CEO Mr Paul Murphy gave an inspirational talk on building teams when he delivered a session of our Leadership Academy programme, linking the insights gained in his successful business career to the world of education.
Matt Miller, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Sinple treats recently visited our Academy to share his experience of setting up a business.
The science teachers at Corby Business Academy had a workshop on teaching radioactivity to students using everyday objects, such as balloons, low sodium salt and welding rods to illustrate key concepts in the classroom.
Well done to all of our CCF cadets who took part in the Brooke Weston Trust’s Annual Remembrance Parade and Beret Presentation Ceremony at CBA and congratulations to those who received awards and promotions. A special mention goes to one of our students, CSgt Dylan Wilson, who did a sterling job of co-ordinating the parade.
