This week, as part of Corby Business Academy’s ‘Ambition for All’ month, over 60 students and staff cycled around Rockingham Motor Speedway’s Oval Track to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK and support two of our staff members, Mr Wears and Ms Johnson, who will be taking part in Prostate Cancer UK’s Grand De’part classic later this year.
As part of our Ambition For All month, we are holding a variety of recitals to showcase some of the amazing talent we have in the music department and celebrate just how ambitious we are.
This week, our Young Enterprise Company Happy Hands’ launched a cookery book full of their favourite recipes.
To celebrate World Book Day, the library team organised a variety of book related activities.
During the course of March we are taking over as torchbear of the Brooke Weston Trust ‘Ambition For All’ initiative. During the course of this month we have organised a number of activities both inside and outside of lessons to celebrate ambition.
CBA’s Big Band and Junior Concert Band are set to take part in the National Concert Band Final after they both received gold awards at the regional rounds of the competition.
