Hosted at the Manchester Aquatics Centre, Vivianne placed second for her age group and overall 16^th out of 22 competitors in the East Midlands region. 

This is the first time Corby Steel Diving Club has competed at this level so it was a great experience and a good learning curve for Vivianne.

Vivianne has been diving for 4 years and she has been entering competitions a year after she started. She was inspired to dive during her swimming lessons at the pool, loving how the divers were carrying out their dives with somersaults. As a keen gymnastic she believed it would be great to transfer these skills to the diving board.

This summer she placed 7^th in National Qualifiers in London which qualified her for the Nationals held in Leeds. Out of 45 divers, she finished 6^th best in the whole of England.

Vivianne would love to be able to progress her career in Diving and potentially qualify for the Commonwealth Games or the Olympics.
