A Year 11 student has achieved her Silver Sailability award.

Zoey Skelton has been working hard on her sailing skills in an access dinghy through the RYA Sailability scheme for disabled people based at Pitsford Reservoir.

Teacher Nikki Clark said: “Zoey achieved her Bronze award last year and set herself a target of winning the Silver award this year.

“To win the award she had to do things like steer a figure eight course and name different parts of the boat.

“Zoey has done very well and is more confident about her sailing as a result of the scheme.”
