One of our teams came third in the Northamptonshire Big Book Quiz this term.
Our Academy entered 12 readers from Years 7 and 8 into the competition and one of our three teams - the Lies and Spies team - came third out of 31 teams from across the county.
This year was the third time the annual event had been held and there were 200 books included in the challenge.
CBA Librarian Amy McKay said: “All our students prepared so well for the competition.
“We knew what the categories would be and we read the books over the previous six weeks.
“Each of our students chose specialist areas and concentrated on them.
“They all worked hard and questioned each other on their different areas.
“I thought all 12 of our entrants were superb.”
The categories included Book Awards, Crime Detective, Ghosts, Chocolate, Michael Morpurgo and Percy Jackson.
