From Monday, Corby Business Academy’s Session 4 activities will return to give students the chance to learn new skills and enhance existing ones.
This term’s wide variety of activities is expected to feature a number of groups for musicians and singers, including Senior Brass Ensemble, CBA Vocalize, Rock Band Practice, Senior Choir, Junior Concert Band, Senior Strings and Jazz Band.
There will be a number of groups designed for students who want to keep active such as Fitness Club and sessions on football, dance, cricket, netball, basketball and rugby.
Students can put their logic skills to the test in Maths Challenge, take part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme or get creative in the Sew ‘n’ Sews textiles club.
A new Eco Club is set to be launched and there is due to be ICT Drop In sessions, a Science Clinic and sessions to help students prepare for the French and Spanish Spelling Bee.
There are also likely to be a range of activities on offer in the Library, including the ever popular Corby Book Addicts and Everest Reading Challenge Catch Up sessions.
In addition the Library will be open for quiet study time and there will be a series of revision sessions on offer in a variety of subjects.
The latest list of Session 4 activities will soon be published under the Student Info section of the Academy’s website.
Students must sign up for all Session 4 activities through the Academy’s website.
This is necessary even if students do not require a late bus because the Academy needs to have a full register of students who are on the site for health and safety reasons.
Students who are signing up for sessions and do not require a late bus can select the option for alternative method of getting home.
