Iain Morton, Tim Hawkins, Jordon Joseph, Phil Woolley and Jonathon Chew have taken on the fun challenge in aid of Movember.

All the sponsorship money they raise will go towards the Movember Foundation’s work to tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s mental health problems.

Business Teacher and Movember Team Captain Mr Morton said: “This is a bit of fun in aid of a very worthy cause which tackles a variety of men’s health issues.

“It’s a great way of raising money for the charity and because what we’re doing is so visible it raises awareness about the issues too.

“Any donations that people can spare will be greatly appreciated and will make us feel better about looking silly for a month.”

Mr Morton added more staff members are welcome to join the team.

A spokesman for the Movember Foundation said: “The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs.

“The Movember community has raised £346 million to date and funded more than 800 schemes in 21 countries. This work is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.”
