Our young enterpreneurs won a top award when they unveiled their contribution to the world of home fragrances for the first time.
Young Enterprise company Tea Time Aromas debuted its line of sophisticated reed diffusers at a trade fair in Stamford on Saturday.
The company of Year 12 students impressed visitors and beat 11 other Young Enterprise companies from a range of secondary schools to win the event’s Award for Best Sales and Marketing.
Tea Time Aromas Managing Director James Shannon said: “I am proud of how well we performed against the other companies.
“I would like to thank the team for all of their hard work at the trade fair, our teacher Miss Allan and other staff members from the Academy for their support.
“We plan to expand in the future by introducing new scents for our product and launching an online store.
“We hope our next trade fair will be even more successful and that we continue to receive support from our sponsors, RS Components and Website Design and Marketing, our shareholders and business advisers.”
Fellow CBA Young Enterprise company inscentive also debuted their range of scented candles at the event.
The other schools which took part in the event included Brooke Weston Academy, Wisbech Grammar School, The Peterborough School, Kesteven Grantham Girls School, The King’s School and the Ken Stimpson Community School.
