Unit Provision wins Christmas Tree competition
Students and staff from Unit Provision have once again won our Christmas Tree Competition.
Students and staff from Unit Provision have once again won our Christmas Tree Competition.
Every year each faculty is challenged to create the best decorated Christmas tree to help turn our Academy into a winter wonderland during the last few days of term.
This year the theme was Modern British Values and the contest was won for the second year in a row by the tree decorated by Unit Provision (pictured above).
Unit Provision Director Claire Robinson said: “We made poppies for our tree, a paper chain in the colours of the Union Jack and multi-coloured paper dolls to show that everyone is different but we all need to work together.
“We also included decorations showing different plates of food from across the UK and we attached sound effect tins which played different types of music from around the country.
“The students really enjoyed making the decorations for the tree and we were very happy to win.”
Second place was won by Amid and third place was won by Comms.
The competition was judged by Sarah Mills from the Brooke Weston Trust.
