Business leaders gave our students expert advice on how they could improve their CVs.
A number of professionals from Corby Enterprise Centre offered to give up their time to work with a group of 20 Year 10 and 11 students after school.
Year 10 student Hannah Eden was among the students who took part in the project.
She said: “I found this to be a really helpful experience. It was great to have the opportunity to speak to business professionals.”
Fellow Year 10 student Aine McGivern added: “It was a brilliant experience. The business professionals helped me a lot with my CV.”
CBA Assistant Principal Andrea Callender said: “The business leaders commented on how professional the students were and the vast improvement in the quality of CVs that they had created.”
The business people who took part included management consultant Stuart Hartley, senior accountant Mandy Davana, web design director Shane Cousins, commercial property agent Richard Potter, commercial property agent and former senior manager at Carphone Warehouse Marcus Learoyd and market consultancy director Richard Mellon.
