Hundreds of music lovers descended on Corby Business Academy to attend our annual summer concert.
Our talented musicians and singers performed in front of an enthusiastic audience at our Summer Showcase which was staged in our Main Theatre tonight.
The evening included performances by our bands, choirs and soloists of lively numbers such as Happy, Thriller and I’m a Believer.
CBA Director of Music Clive Wears said: “The students put in hours and hours of rehearsals to get ready for this concert and it was a fantastic evening.
“We’re very grateful to our students’ families and the wider community for their continued support of our events.”
The solos were performed by singers Lauren Samuels-Hammond, Davina Mushayi and Bobbi Devlin, saxophonist Heather Phillips and clarinetists Joseph Coy and Beth McQuillan.
The evening also included numbers by our Junior Concert Band, String Ensemble, Senior Woodwind Ensemble, Senior Concert Band, CBA Vocalize and the Big Band.
