Year 11 Prom is a glamorous occasion
Our Year 11 students celebrated the end of their GCSE studies in style with a fantastic Prom Night.
Our Year 11 students celebrated the end of their GCSE studies in style with a fantastic Prom Night.
The students swapped their Academy uniforms for glamorous dresses and suits and many arrived in vintage cars, sports cars and limousines.
Prom Organiser Amy Harris said: “It was a brilliant night and was a fantastic way to celebrate all the students’ hard work for their GCSEs.
“The students fundraised throughout the year for their Prom by doing a variety of activities including sponsored leg waxes and a nail evening.
“They raised about £1,500 which paid for things like decorations, a chocolate fountain and a sweet cart.”
The celebration was held on Friday at the Holiday Inn in Corby.
