More than 30 of our students have successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition.
The students, who are in Years 9 to 11, took part in the expedition at the weekend and camped out at the Grendon Outdoor Learning Centre.
During the weekend they walked nearly 10 miles, took part in physical fitness activities and learned camp craft and cooking skills.
CBA Duke of Edinburgh Co-ordinator Natasha Dunstone said: “The Practice Expedition went very well.
“The students worked very hard in their teams and at the end of the weekend they began to prepare their routes for their assessed expedition.
“I hope they all feel a real sense of achievement.”
The Assessed Expedition will take place on July 20th and 21st.
