More than 30 students with a passion for football had an amazing opportunity to work with coaches from a Premier League club.

The students from Years 7 and 8 visited Stoke City FC on the last day of the summer term.

During the visit they trained with the club’s coaches and received a presentation on the variety of careers which are available in the world of football.

CBA Football Coach Stuart Baker said: “The coaches worked with the students on their ball skills and put them into game situations.

“I’m pleased to say the feedback we received from the coaches was very positive and the students were superb during the visit.

“It was great for the students to visit a Premier League club and they found it a very useful and inspiring trip.

“The careers talk in the afternoon also gave them a good insight into the variety of careers that are available in football.

“We would like to thank everyone at Stoke City FC for looking after us so well.”

After the trip the students visited an indoor tropical aqua park called WaterWorld.
