Expert career advisers visited our Academy to help our Year 11 students learn about the range of opportunities open to them.

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership’s (NEP) Pop-Up Job Shop stopped off at our Academy during its current tour to give our students advice about career choices and apprenticeships.

NEP Employment Skills Team member Jo Stewart said: “We wanted to make sure the students were aware of the full range of opportunities that are available to them.

“We provided them with an overview of the key employers in Northamptonshire and talked to them about the Love Bright Futures campaign which is a guide to apprenticeships in the county.

“All the students we have met here have been brilliant.

“They have really engaged with the sessions, asked lots of questions and the feedback we have received has been good.”

During the visit the team handed out copies of NEP’s booklet about careers advice and guidance for young people in the county.
