Four teams from Corby Business Academy have made it through to the Northamptonshire Sainsbury’s School Games final.
Our Key Stage 4 Boys Rowing Team, Year 7 Girls Sports Hall Athletes, Year 7 Girls Basketballers and Key Stage 3 Girls Badminton players will represent Corby, Oundle and Thrapston at the contest following their success at the district heat.
CBA Director of PE Amy Harris said: “It is fantastic to have so many different teams through to the final.
“Our students are very excited about getting through to the final. All of the teams, apart from our rowers, are Key Stage 3 students and their achievement shows what talented Key Stage 3 students we have.
“All the students have worked very hard and our success in these activities is down to them, the training opportunities we provide and the redevelopment of our Session 4 sports clubs.
“As a school we already hold the Sainsbury’s Bronze Mark and such successes are helping us to work towards achieving the Silver Mark.
“We are very proud of all our students and wish them good luck for the finals.”
The finals will take place from February 22nd to February 26th at KLV.
