Experts from a major international company will give up their time to mentor a group of our Sixth Formers.
A group of our Business Studies students have been given the opportunity to take part in the RS Student Mentoring Scheme which is supported and sponsored by RS Components.
The students will receive one-to-one guidance from their mentor in areas of business that they are interested in and they will forge links with the business world.
CBA Director of Business Alex Allan said: “It’s a great opportunity for the students to get guidance from experts with a business perspective.
“It will give the students an understanding of what to do in a business environment and it will help them prepare for the world of business.
“I’m certain the scheme will make the students aware of more career opportunities and the experience will help them to build their confidence.
“We would like to thank all the staff from RS Components for their continued support.”
Sixth Former Chloe Morgan is taking part in the scheme.
She said: “I’m hoping the scheme will enable me to find out more about job opportunities and potential careers and help me to enhance my CV.”
Fellow Sixth Former Carlton Ewen added: “I’m interested in IT and I hope the connections I make will help me to find out about careers in that industry.
“I’m grateful to have this opportunity.”
