An England cricket coach has been working with our Unit students.

Tom Flowers is the Assistant Coach for the England Disability Squad and has been teaching our students Table Cricket and Kwik Cricket.

The six-week course has been organized by the Belvoir Cricket and Countryside Trust which is working hard to introduce cricket to as many schools as possible.

Mr Flowers said: “The students here have been doing brilliantly well.

“They are making progress each week and they have learned the rules of the game.

“We hope these sessions will introduce these students to cricket and encourage them to become fans of the sport and possibly join a social club in the future.”
