Throughout this year we have been involved in Northamptonshire County Council’s Race to the Top programme.
We used funding from the council to provide a range of opportunities, trips and challenges for our academically more able students.
To celebrate the end of the scheme our Race To The Top Co-ordinators Joshua Walsh and Charlotte Knight and students Tijana Karan and Shay Duncan joined representatives from more than 20 other schools at a special gala at Wicksteed Park in Kettering.
Mr Walsh said: “It was a great opportunity for us to discuss the activities we had been involved in with other schools and county council cabinet member for education Cllr Matt Golby.
“Tijana and Shay represented CBA very well at the gala. They answered questions about our projects from teachers and councillors.”
