Students became photographers for the day

A group of students from the Unit took part in a photography taster workshop held at Adrenaline Alley in Corby.

The students received a tour of the studio and watched a demonstration about how to create special effects using a long shutter feed. The students then had a go at creating abstract light art, in which they had 20 seconds to create art out of light.

To end the trip, the students experienced a mini photo-shoot and saw what it was like to be both in front of and behind the camera.

During the trip, the students were lucky enough to meet Princess Anne who was visiting the park to unveil a plaque. They even had a look at the helicopter she arrived in which landed on the Academy field.

CBA teacher, Miss Nikki Clark said ‘The students really enjoyed their day, they had a lot of fun posing for the camera and learnt lots of new photography skills.’
