Students in the Unit Provision have been learning during their tutor time slots this week about our monarchy. Today around 95 Students from the Unit provision and the Yr 7 Nurture Group took part in a street party style celebration to commemorate the Queens Platinum Jubilee. Students had a lunch of hot dogs, burgers, chips and salad followed by strawberries and raspberries with cream served by the Unit Staff and Vice Principal - Mrs Hawkins in the Unit garden area.

After lunch the students took part in a variety of traditional games 

Mrs Brown’s mum knitted bookmarks for all the students involved to keep as memorabilia of the 70 years of the Queen’s reign.

Great fun was had by all!
