Corby Business Academy students celebrated National Poetry Day earlier this month and were invited to create their own poetry based on the theme of 'Refuge.' 

Students across all year groups submitted their entries to our English department who declared Mario in Year 7 the winner. Mario was presented with a card and gift voucher for his achievements. 

Refugees

Refugees are just like us

People say refugees are dangerous

But they just want to escape from war

Refugees are not helpful

They want to make friends

They had to leave their loved ones

So just think and respect them.
