In Memory of Dylan
Corby Business Academy received some heart-breaking news over the Easter break, the unexpected and sad loss of a much-loved student of the Academy – Dylan Harrison. Dylan was a Year 12 student, and part of the Academy’s Unit Provision.
Dylan was a well liked and valued student here at the Academy. Staff and students put a memorial together to remember Dylan and celebrate his life. Some lovely memories and comments have been left for his family to read through in time.
On Friday 19th April, Corby Business Academy truly showcased their community spirit once again. This was shown by holding a drinks and cake sale to raise money for Dylan Harrison's 'Go Fund Me' page. Overall their amazing efforts have helped to support Dylan's family with his funeral arrangements. We managed to raise an incredible £957.27 which will be added to Dylan's Go Fund Me page.
Following on from this our Unit Provision Sixth Form students complete work experience at The Shop in Kettering. In remembrance of Dylan they kindly donated sweets and a sweet hamper raffle prize. In addition to this, they generously donated £144.00 from our most recent sweet shop sale in the Academy.
We are truly overwhelmed by the fantastic community spirit of our students, their families and staff.

Dylan will be sorely missed by all.
