Congratulations to a group of our Year 7 students who attended Brooke Weston Academy today for a Chess tournament against two other schools, Brooke Weston and Corby Technical School. Coming away with the winning trophy.

Mrs Keelan, the Librarian of the Academy and organiser, said "Our team played brilliantly against the two other teams from Brooke Weston and CTS, with our team being all Year 7 students playing students in Years 8, 9 and 10. After 10 speed games each and a total school score of 205, we have officially overthrown CTS (Score 176) as champions to bring the trophy home to CBA for the year.

Big congratulations to the players. They were amazing and a real credit to the Academy.
