The players, who have only been playing together since February, won the Corby and Kettering District League B.

They reached the final against League A winners, Southfields, and beat them 19-10.

The team was also runner-up in a district tournament and went on to a county competition.

Hannah Gibbons has even been selected to try out for the county team.

Director Sport Amy Harris said: "It was great to win the district and this is the best we've ever done. The girls have been training every week and they've done really well."
