Mixing Business and Pleasure
Culinary minded students are using Session 4 to indulge their passion for food and commerce.
The Food Enterprise Club was launched at the start of this academic year and students have been making a variety of recipes and then selling them on to staff and students.
Director of Design Cath Davis, who is running the club said: "Students have been making two of everything and so have been able to take one home and then sell one on.
"The idea is to teach them about cooking, while also introducing them to the commercial enterprise side of it. From selling our produce we will also look towards designing and producing some packaging."
The students will be making Fruit Christmas cakes to purchase towards the end of Term 2.
The club takes place on Thursdays in AL7.
