Librarian Amy McKay and assistant librarian Christina Mangin handed out a number of prizes to students for their efforts with reading throughout the year.
Miss McKay said: “It was a bit of a celebration, it was a way of saying thank you to our regular library users and those who really make an effort with their reading.
“They all received a certificate and a badge, 14 of them received medals and another certificate for specific activities.”
Some of the winners included Thomas McIlhatton, who was named ‘Best Zombie Expert’ for his efforts during the library’s zombie apocalypse project this term.
Owen Robinson was named champion of the chess competition, with Andreas Milan as runner up.
Liam Collins was Top Boy Borrower, having borrowed 147 books this year, and Rohesia Woolley was Top Girl Borrower with 216 Books.
