An author whose book has been given around 50 five star reviews on Amazon visited CBA last week.

D S Mitchell came into school to speak to students about her book ‘The Chameleon’, which is available as a Kindle book.

Librarian Amy McKay said: “She talked about the inspiration behind the book and her writing process. She told the students that she sent the book to publishers but wasn’t getting any joy, so she self-published on the Kindle.

“It was a really interesting visit because it made it seem really achievable for anyone to write their own book.”
