Our award winning Young Enterprise students will be interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton.

Our award winning Young Enterprise students will be interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton.

Signature managing director Diana Olahova, operations director Bradley Thompson and sales director Ellie MacLeod will be interviewed on tomorrow’s (Thursday) Breakfast Show.

The students, who are all in Year 12, are likely to be on air at some point between 8.20am and 9am.

The students have won two enterprise awards in the past few weeks for the customised face flannel gift sets they have created.

Diana said: “I’m nervous about appearing on the radio but excited too. I’m looking forward to being able to tell the listeners about our product.”

Ellie added: “Being involved in Signature has been a real confidence booster and hopefully being on the radio will boost my confidence even more.”

Young Enterprise link teacher Alex Allan said: “As a team the students are extremely excited to be given the opportunity to be interviewed on the radio, to talk about their company called Signature and its future prospects.

“To date they have had £338 worth of sales with a 50% gross profit. “As some of them are studying a wide range of A levels, including Level 3 Enterprise, it is a great opportunity to learn also by doing some key practical skills ready for employment.

“This is a chance for students also to communicate some of their key skills they have learned and to promote business as our schools specialist subject.”
