A team of award-winning students were praised on the radio by the county’s Young Enterprise manager.
Members of our Young Enterprise company, Signature, were asked to talk about the initiative on BBC Radio Northampton’s breakfast show alongside Northamptonshire Young Enterprise manager Robin Neighbour.
The sixth form students talked about the Young Enterprise scheme and their product – personalised face flannel gift sets – and received high praise from Mr Neighbour.
He said: “Signature is a very strong team. What they are doing is fantastic.
“Young Enterprise is about giving students the opportunity to run a business, work as a team and communicate with one another – the skills employers are looking for.”
There are about 20 companies involved in the Young Enterprise initiative from schools throughout Northamptonshire.
In the run-up to Christmas, Signature promoted and sold their product at several trade fairs around the county and won two enterprise awards.
The Young Enterprise competition area final will be held at the Cube in Corby in March.
