A group of fundraisers sold about 300 fortune cookies to raise money for decorations for their Prom.
The Year 11 students sold the fortune cookies in the Academy at the end of January to mark Chinese New Year.
They raised £56 from the sale bringing the total they have raised so far towards their Year 11 Prom to about £1,140.
Prom Committee member Megan Devlin, 16, said: “Our fundraising has gone really well so far.
“Our Prom will be the last time we will all be together so we want to make it special.”
The committee is now looking for between 10 to 20 volunteers from Year 11 to help with bag packs at Asda and Morrisons in Corby next term.
It will hold a raffle at the Partnership Dance Show in Corby Business Academy on March 20th and is also planning a beauty night.
The Prom will be held on June 27th at the Holiday Inn in Corby.
