About 30 students from our Academy took part in an event designed to develop girls’ rugby.
The Rugby Development Day took place at Old Northamptonians Rugby Club and attracted nearly 200 students from around the county.
It featured a variety of activities, including ball handling and tackling exercises.
CBA Active Teacher Natasha Dunstone said: “I’ve never seen nearly 200 girls work so hard on an activity for such a long period of time before.
“They practised a variety of techniques, including tackling, scrummaging, ball handling and game play before finishing with some matches.
“Our girls were outstanding and they loved taking part in the day.”
The development day took place at the end of last term and was followed by a rugby festival.
