Textiles students create colourful monsters
Colourful monsters have been taking over our Textiles Department.
Colourful monsters have been taking over our Textiles Department.
Throughout this year all our Year 7 students have been busy designing and creating monster toys during their textiles lessons.
The latest group of students to take on the challenge have come up with a variety of designs, including one-eyed monsters and creatures baring scary fangs.
Textiles teacher Abbie Parsons said: "Yet again our Year 7 students have been creating monster mayhem in the Textiles Department.
“The ideas I have seen come to life, from paper into fabric, are unique, highly creative and original.
“Our latest group is really proud of its work, as it should be, and the students really wanted to share some pictures of their work with the rest of CBA."
Before the students got to work on the toys they had to master a variety of skills first, including learning how to do transfer dye printing, how to make felt and hand stitching.
