Musicians get ready for big concert

One of the biggest musical events in Corby Business Academy’s social calendar will take place this month.
Our AMID summer concert will be held on Wednesday 25th June and will feature a wide variety of musical acts, including the Senior and Junior Concert Bands, a brass group, a jazz band, a choir and a steel pan band.
Music Teacher Lucy Wass said: “Alongside our Christmas concert this event is the biggest we hold all year and the students have been working very hard towards it.
“This will be the final chance for our Senior Concert Band to play in front of a large audience before they perform at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham so it should be exciting to see them.
“It should be a fantastic night.”
The concert will take place from 7pm in the main theatre.
Tickets are free but parents must provide the slip attached to the letter which was sent home to families about the event.
