 Re. Dictionary for GCSE French Course

The Academy has the opportunity to purchase French-English, English-French dictionaries, on behalf of GCSE French students. They are published by Oxford University Press and are available for £4.50, 50% of the recommended retail price. A dictionary is essential for homework and preparation for controlled assessments and is used during the writing controlled assessment. We recommend the 'Oxford Learner's French Dictionary' as it contains helpful verb tables and information about French grammar.

If you prefer to purchase a dictionary yourself, they are available online at a reasonable cost. The Collins Easy Learning French Dictionary is also recommended as it also has certain extra features which are useful for controlled assessments

If you would like to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase an OUP dictionary, please return the slip below to student reception, with cash or cheque, payable to Corby Business Academy by Thursday 20^th October.
