‘Partnership Christmas Carol Service’
Dear Parent/Carer
Your son / daughter will be participating in the Partnership Carol Service either as a member of the Concert Band or CBA Vocalize. I would like to invite you to attend the Service to be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday 8th December 2011 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Rockingham Rd, Kettering.
This Christmas Carol Service presents the unique opportunity for music students of Corby Business Academy, Brooke Weston, and the Kettering Science Academies; Junior and Secondary to perform together as one united group of musicians and will include music from the partnership Concert Band and Choir.
Tickets for the services are shared between the four schools and therefore, places are limited. Could you please ask your son/daughter to collect tickets from student reception using the attached form. Although there is no charge for these tickets, they are limited to two tickets per student.
If your Son / Daughter has a problem with getting to and from the Carol Service in the evening, please do not hesitate in getting in contact with me. There are a limited number of places available for anyone that does have a genuine problem with transport. Arrangements are as follows:
Can I also draw your attention to our own Winter Concert entitled “Winter Wonderland” due to be held on Wednesday 14th December at CBA. Tickets for this event are also available from Student Reception.
The Partnership Christmas Carol Service proved to be very popular last year and Corby Business Academy has received incredibly high praise for the achievements of all students involved. Please do not miss the opportunity to support the students taking part in the continued success of the Partnership concerts and I sincerely hope you will be able to join us for this festive celebration.
