Dear Parent Carer,

I am delighted to inform you that the Music Department at Corby Business Academy will be producing their first ever CD on Thursday 27^th and Friday 28^th June 2013.  The CD will be recorded using our newly purchased bespoke recording equipment as well as using a producer from B & H Sound.  The CD will be recorded in the main theatre at Corby Business Academy.  It is likely the CD will be ready for purchase in the autumn.

As well as featuring groups such as the Senior Concert Band, Senior Brass Ensemble, Senior Woodwind, Junior Concert Band, CBA Vocalize and the Senior Choir.  The CD will also feature a number of soloists who have been selected by auditions which have been held over the past few weeks.

If your son / daughter are in one of the above mentioned groups it is important that they attend every rehearsal for the CD.  This is to ensure that the quality of performance is of the highest quality and something we can be extremely proud of when it is released.
