Welcome to our Virtual Transition Day,

Following the announcement that Brooke Weston Trust secondary schools would be unable to offer their usual transition arrangements, including a transition day, Corby Business Academy is pleased to offer a Virtual Transition Day with additional activities available.

Below you will find the following:

• A Virtual Transition Day Video – Delivered by Mr Hallam (Head of Year 7). As part of the video, Mr Hallam will give a tour of the first part of the building you will enter on your first day. You will also find out which tutor is linked to your tutor group (e.g. 7A) and they will introduce themselves in the video.
• Virtual lessons - these lessons have been split into two blocks. We would like all students to work through one lesson from block A and one from block B. You will then complete a form to feedback how you found the lesson and what you enjoyed.
• Below you will find a personal profile sheet to fill in where you will be able to tell us a little about yourselves, such as your personal interests and hobbies as well what subjects you really enjoy or are looking forward to doing in secondary school.
• For those unable to access the virtual lessons, you will find a subject work pack available via primary schools as well as below. These work packs support students with the transition from primary school work to the work completed in secondary school.

On Friday 9^th July 2021, we will also be informing you which tutor group your child has been placed in via e-mail.
