Through an in-depth and diverse curriculum, the Media department aims to develop students Media literacy as part of an intellectual and moral foundation for students who may become lifelong interpreters, users and makers of mediated texts. Students will develop the communication skills necessary to better understand the increasingly media shaped world. Through a technical and theoretical approach to their studies, students will build upon their understanding of today’s global systems within diverse communities, both nationally and internationally.

Media focuses on a contextual and academic curriculum allowing students to develop a deep understanding of a number of topics over time. This gives students the opportunity to get the maximum potential from their personalised pathway to ensure a balance of academic and creative. We aim to build pathways for higher education and careers throughout their experience with us, developing practical and theoretical skills for university and beyond.
